Cultivation Tips for Organic and Reproducible Green Zebra Tomatoes:

• Sowing: Start seeds indoors between mid-February and early April, maintaining a consistent temperature of at least 20°C, ideally 24°C. Provide a warm, humid environment with regular, light watering.

• Transplanting: Once seedlings have 2 to 4 leaves, transplant them into pots placed in a warm location (15-20°C). After April 15, plant them outdoors in the ground or under a greenhouse, spacing them 50 x 80 cm apart.

• Pruning: For indeterminate varieties like Green Zebra, prune suckers that grow in the leaf axils to encourage the development of quality fruits. For determinate or bush tomatoes, apply mulch and guide the plants accordingly.

• Watering: Water regularly without wetting the foliage, as tomatoes are susceptible to mildew. Regularly spray the plants with horse manure extract, nettle brew, or seaweed powder (lithothamnium) as a preventive measure against fungal diseases.

• Harvesting: Harvest tomatoes when they easily detach from the plant. The harvest time depends on the tomato type: early varieties are harvested about 2 months after planting, mid-season varieties about 2.5 months, and late varieties about 3 months.
