Strawberry Spinach

This variety makes a beautiful addition to your garden, with its red, juicy fruits resembling wild strawberries. The leaves, which can be eaten both raw in salads or cooked, provide a flavorful addition and can be used like spinach. The plant grows to about 60 cm in height.

Cultivation advice for the decorative vegetable with edible fruits:

Sow in pots from April to late June. Plant seedlings 30 cm apart. It thrives best in full sun and in cool, humus-rich soil. Harvest when the fruits are ripe.
