Product description

Sambucus nigra, also called Common Elder or Black Elder, is a medium-sized deciduous tree or shrub with a rounded upright shape and at a later age a broad crown with drooping branches. The leaves are composed of 3 to 9 dark green elliptical sub-leaves with a serrated edge. In May and June, the black elder blooms with large, strongly scented white flower corymbs, followed in autumn by edible black berries. Sambucus nigra prefers a position in full sun or half-shadow and does well in any type of soil. It is very hardy, tolerates sea wind and air pollution well, and attracts bees, insects and butterflies.

04-11-2021 20:19 De plantjes waren goed verpakt en werden netjes verzorgd geleverd. Bij de vlierbes werd er echter een menselijke gemaakt. Er werden slechts 9 boompjes geleverd ipv 10. Op zich niet zo erg, door de onderlinge afstand iets te vergroten was het probleem opgelost.
