Product description

Rainbow Chard

This beautiful, decorative variety features yellow, red, orange, or pink Swiss chard. The leaves can be either green or red, depending on the color of the chard. It can be eaten just like other varieties of Swiss chard.

Planting Advice
Sow the seeds in a seed tray or compressed clump, or directly in the ground from March to July, in rows spaced 30 cm apart. Thin the seedlings to a spacing of 30 cm. The plant prefers rich soil. Harvest from July to November, ensuring gradual harvesting so that new leaves can grow, extending the harvest into the fall. The leaves can be used like spinach, and the chard is blanched and prepared with a white sauce.
