Summer Purslane Green – Robust and Flavorful Leafy Vegetable

A strong, vigorous plant with green, fleshy leaves. Both the leaves and young shoots can be eaten raw or cooked.

Growing Tips

Sow directly outdoors from May to early August, either broadcast or in rows with 25 cm spacing. Lightly cover the seeds as they require light to germinate. Thin out seedlings to 15 cm apart.

Choose a warm, sunny location and water regularly. Harvest from July to October.
