Product description

'Prunus Cerasus Morellenfeuer' is a delectable cherry variety with a slightly sour flavour. The tree blooms in April with beautiful white flowers and around July the deep red fruits with long stems can be picked. These cherries are best eaten directly, but can also be made into jam, juice or as decoration for desserts and cakes. Cherries are a good source of carbohydrates, calcium and vitamin C. The tree grows well in almost all soils, but needs sufficiently moist and nutritious soil. Make sure the tree is in a sunny spot so that the cherries get enough sunlight. After harvesting, it is important to prune the tree, remove new branches that are not part of the tree canopy. Prune away branches that cross each other and branches on which there were no cherries this year. In short, the 'Prunus Cerasus Morellenfeuer' is an easy cherry tree suitable for any garden.
