The Early Neckarkönigin Pole Bean is a vigorous and early-ripening variety. These long, green, fleshy pods are completely stringless and have a soft, melting texture. The beans inside are white. Ideal for a long and abundant harvest.

Growing Tips for Early Neckarkönigin Pole Bean

Sowing:

• Sow directly outdoors from May, after the last frost, in warm and moist soil.
• Sow in rows, placing one seed every 10 cm, or in groups of 5-6 seeds every 50 cm, in double rows spaced 60-70 cm apart.
• Pole beans prefer light, humus-rich soil and a sunny location. Poor or dry soil may result in tougher and more fibrous pods.
• For a continuous harvest, sow every three weeks until mid-June.

Care & Support:

• Provide a strong climbing structure such as a trellis, teepee, or wire mesh, approximately 2 meters high.
• Three weeks after germination, hill up the plants to stabilize them.
• Water regularly during dry periods for optimal growth.

Harvest:

• Harvest after 2.5 to 3 months, every 4-5 days, for continuous production.
• Unlike bush beans, this variety produces over a longer period, allowing for an extended harvest.

Tips & Storage:

• Soak seeds 12 to 24 hours before sowing to accelerate germination.
• To prevent pests, store seeds in the freezer for a week before planting.
