Black Cumin Seeds (Nigella sativa)

Growing Tips

• Sowing Time: Sow the seeds directly in the ground from April to June.
• Sowing Depth: Sow the seeds in rows or scatter them evenly. Thin out the seedlings to 20 cm apart in rows, with 40 cm between the rows.
• Growing Conditions: Black cumin prefers a sunny location and thrives in all soil types.
• Watering: Ensure the soil stays regularly moist but not waterlogged.
• Height: The plant typically reaches a height of about 60 cm.

Harvesting: The seeds are ready to be harvested once the pods are brown and dry. Shake the seeds out of the pods and store them for later use in cooking or for their medicinal benefits.
