New Zealand Spinach

New Zealand Spinach is an excellent substitute for spinach during the summer months, offering a very pleasant taste. It is more productive than traditional spinach. The tips of the stems are harvested, and the plant branches out abundantly. It deserves a place in every vegetable garden.

Cultivation Advice: Sow in a warm seed tray (20°C) from April or directly in the ground after the last frost. Plant in 2-3 small clusters, spaced 80 cm apart in all directions. Harvest from July to October. Requires rich, cool soil and thrives in warm weather. After 4 leaves, cut the flowering stems to encourage secondary growth.
