Product description

Muscari, also known as the Blue Grape, has its origins in the beautiful regions of Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and the enchanting Caucasus. The name "Muscari" is derived from the Greek word "moschos," meaning musk, and refers to the wonderful scent these flowers give off. The species name "Armeniacum" comes from Armenia, a mountainous country in the South Caucasus.

The Blue Grape, or Muscari Armeniacum, is a cheerful perennial bloomer known for its striking blue flowers and ease of propagation. Each plant proudly displays two to three elongated leaves with a deep dark green back and a pale bluish-green top. The bell-shaped, cobalt-blue flowers grow in clusters that later unfurl into loose clusters. The flowers are subtly decorated with a delicate white edge, giving them an elegant appearance. After flowering, decorative seed pods form, keeping the Blue Grape interesting throughout the season.

This beautiful plant thrives best in a sunny spot with well-drained, moist soil, but also does well under trees or shrubs. You can plant them in large numbers for an enchanting sea of blue in your garden, or use them to brighten up your borders in small groups. Moreover, they are perfect for planting in a pot both indoors and outdoors, allowing you to enjoy their beauty all year round. Add a touch of enchantment to your garden with the Blue Grape!
