A remarkable discovery: Lavandula intermedia Sensational!


This unusual lavender is characterised by its broad, thick silver leaves and sensationally large flowers (11 cm), which are intense purple and grouped on dense flower spikes. Sensational! flowers sumptuously from summer to autumn and even offers a second bloom, giving it a long flowering season.

With its compact, upright growth habit, Sensational! forms a well-branched plant about 60 cm tall and wide. It shows high tolerance to leaf spot and root diseases and also spreads a wonderfully fine, floral fragrance.

Plant Sensational! in full sun in well-drained soil for optimum growth. Lavandula Sensational! is an excellent addition in the perennial border, rock garden, or in a pot on the patio or balcony. It is also very suitable for landscaping and mass planting. Thanks to its sturdy flower stems, Sensational! can also be used as a fresh or dried cut flower. Hardy to -25 ºC.
