Making Seed Balls - Guerrilla Gardening
Using the method of Masanobu Fukuoka, you can make seed balls and scatter them wherever you like. Fukuoka used this technique on his own farm and to re-green deserts. Seed balls are a fun and effective way to sow seeds in hard-to-reach or neglected areas.

Recipe for Seed Balls
Ingredients for 3 seed bombs:
– 50 grams of bentonite clay
– 10 grams of compost or soil bokashi
– 10 grams of bee-friendly flower and herb seeds
– 20-25 ml water and a bowl

Preparation

1. Mix the compost or bokashi with the seeds.
2. Add the bentonite clay and mix well.
3. Carefully add water and knead the mixture into a firm mass.
4. Roll the mixture into balls about 3 cm in diameter.
5. Let the seed balls dry for 3 days, but avoid drying them in direct sunlight to prevent them from falling apart.

You can simply drop or throw the seed balls, or bury them in hard-to-reach places.
