Golden Hubbard Squash

The Golden Hubbard Squash is a robust and productive squash plant that produces 3 to 5 fruits per plant, with an average weight of 2 to 5 kg per fruit. Sowing the Golden Hubbard Squash

Sow Golden Hubbard squash indoors in pots at a temperature of 20°C in March and April. This speeds up fruit formation and helps reduce damage from pests. After the last frost, around mid-May, transplant the seedlings into the ground, spacing them 1 meter apart (up to 2 meters for sprawling varieties). Make sure to plant the seedlings in small holes filled with compost to support the roots.

It is also possible to sow directly in the ground in May, but note that the harvest will be later and less abundant.
