Flower Mix ‘Elegance’ – A Stylish Choice for Wildflower Meadows

As its name suggests, the ‘Elegance’ flower mix exudes pure refinement. This annual blend features species with smaller flowers and delicate foliage, making it an ideal choice for wildflower meadows and floral strips in parks, public green spaces, or private gardens. With its succession of blooming periods, it provides months of nourishment and shelter for insects, while humans can enjoy the same stunning display. With just 20 grams of seed, you can easily create a colorful flower explosion covering at least ten square meters.

Colors and Species

The ‘Elegance’ flower mix combines soft hues of white, pink, purple, and blue with a playful hint of orange. Early bloomers like phacelia and koekruid are followed by coriander, marigold, dill, and cornflower. The Cosmea adds a long-lasting bloom and continues flowering until late in the autumn, rising above the rest of the mix. The flowers reach a height of about 1 meter, with the Cosmea standing out in the fall.

Sowing and Maintenance

• Sowing Time: Sow the mix between the second half of April and June 21st (the longest day).
• Maintenance: After about four weeks, it is advisable to remove coarse weeds between the rows. This can be done as long as you can still walk between the rows.
