This very early fennel variety is highly resistant to bolting and can be grown both in greenhouses and outdoors. Sow fennel in March under glass for the best results.

Cultivation advice for fennel:

Sow fennel in March-April under glass, planting seedlings at 25 x 40 cm. If planting outdoors, sow after May 15. Alternatively, sow in a nursery in July and transplant into the ground for a harvest in October. Fennel requires good airflow and plenty of light, so choose a sunny, sheltered spot for growth. It thrives in a light, rich soil and needs frequent watering. Once the plant stops growing, it will start to bolt. Harvest fennel after approximately two and a half months. Be mindful of frost.
