Eupatorium cannabinum - Organic perennial

Queen's wort or liverwort (Eupatorium cannabinum) is a plant of the composite family (Asteraceae). It grows to a height of 30-170 cm and grows in moist places, for example, in marshes, reed beds and damp forests. It forms pink flower heads with five or six tubular flowers (sometimes white). The umbels have purple tips. The plant flowers as an umbel-shaped plume of flower heads. The flowering period is from July to September. The leaves are opposite. The lower leaves are inverted-lanceolate and stalked; the upper leaves are three-parted, lanceolate, unstalked and coarsely serrated. Queen's wort bears a black nut with a pappus.
