Sowing:
Sow in June and July in a seedbed. Transplant young plants about 6 weeks after sowing, when they are around 10 cm tall, at a spacing of 60 cm in all directions.

Broccoli thrives in nutrient-rich soil with a fresh, sunny location.

Care and diseases:

• Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Do not allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
• Mulching helps retain moisture in the soil.
• Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal diseases.

Harvesting:

• Harvest between February and April of the following year.
• Broccoli is ready to harvest when the head is well-formed but before the flower buds start to open.
