Anemone hupehensis 'Prinz Heinrich' is a perennial that flowers beautifully in autumn. This deciduous beauty grows in a neat clump-like habit and has roughly toothed, deeply lobed leaves. The leaves are dark green on top and feel slightly downy and felty on the underside.

From September to October, this autumn anemone is enveloped in deep pink to purplish pink (semi-)double flowers, creating a breathtaking spectacle of colour. This plant thrives best in semi-shaded environments with well-drained soil. And the good news is that it can tolerate a little drought after it is well established.

Anemone hupehensis 'Prinz Heinrich' is hardy and can survive even in coastal areas with sea winds and air pollution. This versatile plant feels at home in perennial borders, at the edge of the forest, or in shade gardens, adding beauty and colour to any environment where it is planted.
